The Story

Tekken 3 is PS1's best-selling fighter: over 8 million copies. Sidestepping added a lateral dimension to fights, and all 23 characters were unique: from Eddy Gordo's capoeira to Lei's drunken kung fu. Tekken Force mode was a hidden beat 'em up, and Tekken Ball a delirious volleyball game. The arcade conversion was practically perfect. Namco at its peak.
