Buzz Bombers

Buzz Bombers took the Space Invaders concept and transformed it into something unique: bees and bumblebees descended depositing flowers blocking your spray cannon. If flowers reached the bottom, game over. The bumblebee was the real danger — faster and tougher. Bees could transform into bumblebees if sprayed wrong. Hummingbird bonuses cleaned flowers from screen. Intellivision added tactical complexity absent in simple Atari shooters: shooting wasn't enough, you had to manage space.
