The Story

Mega Man 3 introduced Rush (the transformable robot dog), the slide, and Proto Man, Mega Man's mysterious brother. The game was bigger than MM2 with 8 Robot Masters + Doc Robot stages remixing MM2 bosses. Difficulty was perfectly balanced. The soundtrack — Snake Man, Magnet Man, the title screen — rivals MM2. For a significant portion of fans, MM3 is the series' true peak.
