Duck Hunt

Duck Hunt taught millions of kids to point an orange plastic gun at a CRT television — the Zapper only worked with CRTs, making the game unplayable on modern TVs without modifications. The dog emerging from the grass laughing when you missed ducks became one of gaming's most hated and loved characters, even entering the Super Smash Bros. roster. Included as a pack-in with the NES in North America, it's one of the most widely distributed games ever.
