Dr. Mario turned Mario into a doctor in a puzzle game challenging Tetris for the genre crown. Two-colored pills fell into a jar full of red, yellow and blue viruses: aligning four of the same color cleared everything. At high levels, strategy became extremely deep: planning cascade combos was essential. Multiplayer was competitive and ruthless. The Fever Theme is an earworm that never leaves your head.
