The Story
Alex Kidd in Miracle World was Sega's answer to Super Mario Bros. For millions of European and Brazilian players it was their first platformer. Alex fought with fists, collected coins to buy vehicles, and faced bosses in rock-paper-scissors matches. The game was built into the Master System II's ROM, making it the platform's most widespread title. It didn't reach Mario, but had its own charm.
