Castlevania: Circle of the Moon

Circle of the Moon was the GBA launch Castlevania and one of the console's best games. The DSS (Dual Set-up System) combined action and attribute cards for unique effects: fire whip, ice shield, transformations. Difficulty was high and gothic atmosphere impeccable. The original GBA's unlit screen made darker levels nearly impossible to see — a flaw that paradoxically added terror.
