Metroid: Zero Mission

Zero Mission wasn't a simple NES Metroid remake: it was a complete reimagining adding new areas, bosses, better map, and a final section where Samus lost the Power Suit and infiltrated the Space Pirate ship with only a stun pistol. This stealth sequence was pure tension and completely changed the game's pace.
