The Story
Demon Attack was the game that established Imagic as the most refined software house of the 2600 era. Demons descended with unpredictable movements, split in two when hit, and their projectiles followed curved trajectories impossible to predict. Visually among the console's most beautiful games: vivid colors, detailed sprites, fluid animations โ Rob Fulop squeezed from the TIA more than anyone thought possible. Atari sued claiming it copied Phoenix, but lost. Demon Attack sold over one million copies and remains among retrogaming enthusiasts' most played games.
