The Story
Warren Robinett created Adventure with a small square exploring castles, collecting keys and fighting dragons that looked like ducks. It was the first action-adventure in history. But its most famous legacy is hidden: a secret room displaying 'Created by Warren Robinett' โ the first video game Easter egg, inserted secretly because Atari refused to credit developers. Ernest Cline's Ready Player One made this moment immortal for a new generation.
